Jono Ganz is an author, illustrator and animator. He lives and works in London, in the home he shares with his wife, son, adopted cat, and a 19th century weaving loom.
His debut book for children, Mildred the Gallery Cat, was published by Tate Publishing in 2022. It was shortlisted for the 2023 Klaus Flugge Prize for illustration, and has been translated into German, Korean and Simplified Chinese. It has also been adapted for a series of site-based activities and learning resources, as well as a range of merchandise (erasers! aprons! tiny tote bags!) available from the Tate shop.
I'm Fine, Thanks!, his second picture book, has been described as "wild and unhinged" and "hilariously random".
He is represented by Wendi Gu at HG Literary.
